Figure 59. Avulsions and cutoffs summarized by valley segment. GLO to 1940 avulsions were determined only for parts of Council Butte and Beatty–Sycan valley segments where the channel was meandered. Observations from South Fork, North Fork, Lower Sycan, and Coyote Bucket were limited for some time periods by incomplete map and photographic coverage.
