7-Days of Pre- and Post-Aeration Oxygen Percent Saturation at the Fernhill Wetlands Outfall (453016123052400)

Site has been discontinued.

The Fernhill Wetlands outfall discharges to the Tualatin River downstream of Fern Hill Road at river mile 55.2. Data are collected on the half hour.

Two dissolved-oxygen sensors are installed at this site. One is just upstream of the outfall (pre-aeration) and one is just downstream of a set of aerators located near the outfall's exit pipe (post-aeration). Both dissolved-oxygen sensors have an accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 to 0.2 milligrams per liter. Despite our best efforts to keep these probes calibrated and operating within specifications, some instrumental drift and periodic problems may occur.

Data in the graph below are plotted against the axis of the same color. Percent saturation is estimated as a function of water temperature at this site and barometric pressure at a nearby site.

These data are provisional and are subject to revision.
