Site Photos

Since the inception of the project there have been a number of high-flow, high-turbidity events within the North Santiam River Basin. Below are links to each of the sites, where photographs and images are available.

Project Video

During the course of this study a few videos have been shot and animations constructed to help give staff personnel a better feel for the basin. Below are links to a few of these examples. (Forgive the amateur style, as the videos were produced by scientists, not videographers.)

Mount Jefferson debris flow recon

Time-lapse Photography

Following the November 2006 debris flow that occurred on Mount Jefferson, a time-lapse photgraphy system was established in the Milk Creek drainage basin. By including this system, we hope to capture another debris flow event, similar to those from 2000, 2003, and 2006. Below are links to collections of images from various months since the sytem was established in September 2008.
